Krizna Gomez has an LL.M. in International Human Rights Law from Harvard, and BA in Political Science and JD from the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines. Before leaving for her LL.M. and working as a Presidential Fellow at the Open Society Foundations in New York, she worked as a human rights lawyer and law lecturer in the Philippines, and worked with other Southeast Asian organizations on access to justice in the region. Krizna has worked in Ghana, Papua New Guinea, Cambodia and Uganda on education, gender-based violence and extractive industries, gender studies, and human rights defenders. She is a senior researcher at De Justicia in charge of its Global South work in Asia.
